Overview
The National Public Prosecution Authority issues criminal record certificates to Rwandans and to foreigners who live or have lived in Rwanda. Applications are made on Irembo, for yourself or a child. The certificate is issued electronically and can be downloaded with your application or billing number, or received by email.
Who can apply
Rwandans with a national ID or citizen application number, foreigners with a foreigner's ID and refugees with a refugee ID. People abroad without these apply through a Rwandan embassy.
What you need
- Identification number
National ID, citizen application number, foreigner's ID or refugee ID.
- Supporting documents (some applicants)
Passport photo, passport copy, visa copy or refugee registration where requested.

On Irembo choose Criminal Record, then Criminal Record Certificate.

Apply for yourself or for a child and enter the ID details.
