Overview
The Police Clearance Certificate, widely called the Certificate of Good Conduct, is issued by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations. You apply on eCitizen, print the C24 fingerprint form, and have your fingerprints captured in person. When processing is complete you receive an SMS and download the certificate from eCitizen.
Who can apply
Kenyan citizens and foreigners with a valid permit or pass. Kenyans abroad can have fingerprints taken at designated Kenyan embassies and high commissions.
What you need
- eCitizen application and payment
A completed DCI Police Clearance application with a paid invoice.
- Fingerprint capture
Fingerprints taken on the printed C24 form at an approved centre.

Select DCI services and choose Police Clearance Certificate.

Pay and print
Pay the invoice, then print the C24 form on both sides of one A4 sheet and two copies of the invoice.
