Overview
NTSA is replacing the old paper driving licence with a smart card licence. New drivers first train at a licensed driving school and pass the NTSA test; holders of the old licence migrate to the smart licence. Both routes finish with an eCitizen application, payment and an appointment for fingerprints and a photograph.
Who can apply
Drivers who have passed the NTSA driving test or who hold a valid Kenyan driving licence and need to migrate to the smart licence.
