Tourism · Uganda Every company holds a UTB licence
Safari and trekking companies on the Uganda Tourism Board licence register. See what each one runs, where it goes and what its trips cost, then contact it directly or ask several for quotes at once.
Describe your trip once. Up to four UTB-licensed operators who cover your places reply with itineraries and prices.
Recommended order puts companies with checked trip details first, then the rest A to Z. No one can pay for a place in this list.

A licence shows a company may trade. It does not vouch for every trip, so these checks are worth a few emails.
Find the company on the official register and match the licence number. If it is new, ask for the number and check again later.
Each day, each lodge, the vehicle type and what is included: permits, park entry, meals, drinks, guide and fuel.
Gorilla and chimpanzee permits are issued per person by the wildlife authority. Ask for a copy once they are bought.
Agree in writing how much is due when, and what you get back if you cancel or a permit date changes.
Pay into an account in the company's name, by card or bank transfer, and keep every receipt.
Association logos on a website are the company's own claim. The association can confirm membership.
