Uganda Technical College Kichwamba was established in 1947 as an artisan training centre to resettle Second World War veterans. It became a technical institute in 1971 and a technical college in 1983.
The college offers diploma courses in engineering. It is about 15 km north-west of Fort Portal in Kabarole District.
